As the nights start to draw in and we reach for the BBQ cover and empty the paddling pool there is no need to despair at the prospect of autumnal apathy or seasonal somnolence. We at Wishful have a way of keeping you active in mind and body with our Monthly Monday Night Games Nights which now features TABLE FOOTBALL.

Yes, we have upped our game, talked to various Hedge Funds and have secured access to our very own foosball table top game. Its delightfully simple and easy to play with figures mounted on rotating rods who “kick” a ball into the opposing goal by the players who manipulate the rods to control the figures, using them to hold up, pass or ‘kick’ the ball. Just remember the golden rule – NO SPINNING and you won’t go far wrong. Our first ever WD Table Football Trophy will feature a knockout competition open to young and old alike with various beery prizes for the winners and runners up.

So don’t sit at home looking at the jigsaw puzzle box waiting to be inspired to rip the lid off. Nip down to WD for our regular Monthly Monday Games Night which also features  the ever-popular Yahtzee but also with Cribbage, Poker Dice, Dominos, Chess/Draughts. Please also feel free to bring your own games to play on the night if your favourite is not included in our house selection.
