On Monday 21st February it’s our Meet the Brewer tasting event, with the amazing Alpha Delpha Brewing!
With less than a week to go, Monday 21st February sees Alpha Delta make their way down from the Arctic Tundra that is Newcastle-upon-Tyne for our latest Meet the Brewer event. Our host for the evening will be Ross Holland, co-founder, co-brewer, co-all round top lad!! On kegs we will be tasting:
- Xevza – Pale Ale – New England / Hazy (5.0%)
- Echo – Stout – Imperial / Double Pastry (11.0%)
- Blue Birthday DIPA – IPA – Imperial / Double (8.5%)
And there’s more! We will also be trying five yummy beverages in can:
- Apollo V4 – English IPA (6.0%)
- Hera V2 – Southern Hemisphere Pale (4.2%)
- Erebus BDIPA – IPA – Imperial / Double Black (8.5%)
- Phalanx – IPA – American (10.3%)
- Artemis – Stout – Imperial / Double Milk (11.33%)
Now for some history… Alpha Delta Brewing was established in September 2019, in Newcastle Upon Tyne by Ross Holland. With over 5 years of brewing experience behind him, Ross decided to create something BIG. In October, Aether and Aion were released as the first two big seasonal beers to kick Alpha Delta off.
Since September 2019 Alpha Delta Brewing has already earned spots in the Rate Beer Award’s list of the top 10 new brewers. Fewer than 0.33% of qualifying businesses are named in the annual top 10 new brewery list, so they must be doing something right.
