So Wishfullers, the best-laid plans of mice and men and all that have been thrown into some disarray by guess what? Yep, COVID!

We were all gearing up – with awesome aley anticipation – for our next Meet The Brewer Night on Monday 18th April with our very good friends from Popes Yard, Barbara and Geoff. But then the dreaded lurgy struck laying low two of our favourite local brewers.

But all is not lost… let’s mix Mondays up a bit! Nothing cancelled or dropped… just a bit of rejigging so, the running order for the next few Mondays will be:

Monday 18th April – It’s the Wishful Gigantic Games Night featuring the ever-popular Yahtzee but now also with Cribbage, Poker Dice, Dominos, Chess/Draughts and any games you chose to bring in on the night.

Monday 25th April – We love local so we are delighted to confirm the rescheduled Meet the Brewer event with Pope’s Yard! Barbara and Geoff brew award-winning small batches of increasingly wild beers at Frogmore Mill, Apsley. They will be showcasing 7 of their super beers, discussing the brewing processes, sharing anecdotes and answering questions throughout the night. Nibbles and banter to be provided. Tickets are on sale at £20 each and as ever the more the merrier but please confirm attendance as spaces are strictly limited.

The usual times apply to all of the above – gather for 7:30 pm for an 8 pm prompt start… what a way to spend Monday nights!
