As we go to press there is some really exciting news that we can now share. We have just heard from TRDC that our Temporary Pavement Licence has been approved!!

We have not received the paperwork yet so we cannot confirm all of the details now but we will be able to have three tables and twelve seats situated in the loading bay outside Wishful from Monday 12th April with inside seating hopefully following soon after on 17th May.

The rules from April 12th only allow groups of up to 6 people (this will be 4 for us per table) or two households. It is also a requirement that all guests over the age of 16 must either check-in with the NHS Covid-19 App or provide us with their contact details. So if you have not already downloaded the NHS App now might be a good time to do so.

Once we have all of the details to hand we will let you know our opening times and how you can reserve a table… watch this space!
One thing that remains out of our control of course is the British weather so it might be a good idea to bring a blanket and hot water bottle (we can fill them!!) or put on your skiing jacket and gloves just in case!

To mark this momentous milestone on the map to full reopening, from Monday we will be serving one of the most superb craft beers the UK… maybe even the World… has ever been fortunate to drink, the delicious, the delightful DEYA STEADY ROLLING MAN. A Wishful favourite since our opening and many times since.

And please remember that we remain open as usual for off-sales of bottles, cans and Growlers if you prefer to drink good beer in the familiarity and comfort of your own home, or with family and friends al fresco in your favourite safe place.
