As the warm weather continued to rise outside, it was Wild Weather, all the way from sunny Reading, that were next up to pay us a visit.

And, to wax lyrical on all things Wild Weather, we had Gerad Inglis (Head of Sales) and JD (Head Brewer) join us for the evening, bringing along some very sexy glassware to go with some banging beers.

To quench the thirst of our attendees as they arrived, we started with “Into the Light”, a sessionable New England pale ale (4.5%).

We then sat back and enjoyed a journey that took us through “Four Hops Jeremy?”, “Peeler” Banana Milkshake IPA (YES, Banana!), “Satellite” Cherry Sour,” Spruce Moose” Spruce Tip West Coast IPA, “Fire Saga” English Brown Ale ending with the mega “Nae Bother” Wee Heavy.

JD in particular gave us an in-depth background into the history of India Pale Ale, hand foraged beer and the homage to Scottish brewing in “Nae Bother”

Who knows how long this heatwave will last but we will have more great beers lined up for the next Meet the Brewer event with Unbarred Brewery on 12th September. The usual lively banter, beery learnings and a bit of nosebag. Spaces are strictly limited as ever so please book you tickets EARLY!! Usual format, gather from 7:30 pm for an 8 pm start. Tickets will be £20.
