Not even the recent heatwave was enough to stop us in our search for the best beer around.

I travelled to Tobacco Dock, braving said heat, to attend this years London Craft Beer Festival.

Considering that the venue is effectively one big greenhouse, I take my hat off to all of the brewers who attended this year.

It was nice to bump into some familiar faces from BBNo, Salt and Verdant who have all visited us for Meet the Brewer events. It was also nice to put faces to names with breweries that we are in contact with for future events.

Some fantastic brews were sampled… “The Floor is Guava” from Brew York, (Now in stock in cans at WD!), a few weird and wonderful stouts from Amundsen’s Donut Series, and “Bobber” from Beak Brewery.  The most welcome drink of the day was a nice, ice-cold Lagerita courtesy of Big Smoke Brewery.
