Sunday 19th September sees the launch of the 2021 Oktoberfest event at Wishful! And what a great fortnight we have planned for you!

The original Oktoberfest was held in October 1810 in honour of a Royal Wedding in Bavaria. For five full days, the burghers of Munich were invited to eat, drink and be merry, and enjoy parades involving kettle drums and music, shooting displays and a horse race around a meadow on the edge of town. Such a good time was had by all that it was decided to stage the race (and the accompanying indulgences) every year thereafter. Sadly for the second time in a row, the pandemic has meant that the actual Oktoberfest festival in Muich cannot take place, but Wishfullers can still celebrate the wonderful world of German beers in Ricky.

So once again the unique Wishful Drinking Oktoberfest Passport scheme featuring the following 12 hand-picked Oktoberfest beers gets underway on Sunday.
